My little baby is no longer a baby! Ella turned 4!
We threw a big birthday bash for her and invited tons of friends, had a big blow up water slide, snow cones and cupcakes. Good times.
Ella is such a great girl. I feel so lucky to have her as mine! She
has suddenly morphed from toddler to kid. In fact, at her last doctor
appointment she shot up about 6 inches in the past year! She is full of
personality and imagination. I love hearing how her mind works and what
she is thinking about. She has the sweetest little testimony and is full
of questions about Heavenly Father and Jesus. She did tell me that she
isn't going to be good anymore because she doesn't want to go to heaven
because she wants to live in our house.
She is an
amazing big sister to Kate. Kate can be pretty demanding and Ella has
adapted so well to having to be more independent. She loves her sister
and is great to play with her and watch out for her. She is so sweet to
help her up and down the slide or get her things when they drop.
Ella's favorite things to do are play dress ups (mostly her Elsa dress my mom made her), craft projects,
all kinds of art and anything with friends. She has reached the age
where it isn't as much fun to play with mom and she's always asking to
play with friends.
She loves to help me around the
house. Her favorite thing is to cook and bake with me. She is my little
buddy. She even likes to relax with me and watch Studio 5 (especially
the baking segments!). We went clothes shopping for me the other day and
when I asked her opinion of what shirt I should get she told me "just
get both, it's fine." Love her!
Right now she is in
preschool two days a week and tumbling once a week. She loves both. She
is always asking when it is Monday or Wednesday. She loves to have her
things to go to and do. She does great in new things with new people.
She is so brave and outgoing. She is really good at making new friends.
I love my Ella and really need time to slow down. She is growing up way too fast!
