Kate 5 Months

Kate bug is 5 months old. She's growing like a weed and we love her to pieces.

Her new trick this month is that she can roll over. At first she would roll, get stuck on her tummy and get mad. But now she's mastered going both directions and is loving her new ability to get to things just out of her grasp.

We pulled out Ella's bouncer and she LOVED it! (In fact I think we have a picture of Ella wearing this exact outfit playing in it...) She likes it a bit more than Ella did and it's nice to have something fun for her to play for a minute.

We are so lucky to have such a smiley, happy baby. She is truly a delight to have in our family. She is always laughing and talking to us. And all it takes is a glance and a smile in her direction and she's grinning ear to ear. We love it.

She has just started sitting up on her own. She loves to sit there like a big girl and be able to play with her toys and more importantly, her sister. I love that I can tell she's so proud of herself!

Kate is now eating solids like a champ. We've introduced lots of different fruits and veggies and even some yummy pureed chicken and so far she hasn't met a food she doesn't like. This is such a new experience having a baby eat so well! She still won't go for a bottle but that's okay. She's sleeping okay...not as well as she used to...she's up once or twice a night for some mommy cuddles. I'm tired and everyone in our house would really like her to join the rest of us in sleeping through the night!

We love our little Kate bug and can't imagine our lives without her! She was definitely meant to be in our family!
