oh yeah...

Someone is going to be a Big Sister!

That's right we're expecting! Baby Hafen #2 is due April 3rd! We can't wait!

So far I've been feeling lousy. Not a huge surprise because I was so sick with Ella. I do think this time has been slightly easier because 1) I started taking Zofran right away and 2) I'm not trying to work full time so I can take an afternoon nap when Ella does.

I have been a pretty rotten mom lately. I'm so tired and sick that I don't have a lot of energy to do fun things. She has spent a lot more time than I'd like watching TV. Oh well, you do what you have to do, right?  The thing that breaks my heart is that Ella will tell me that her tummy hurts and that she has to go to the couch. (Sounds a little too familiar.) And she'll start fake coughing and run to the bathroom to cough by the toilet. I've tried to shelter her from seeing me get sick but I guess she figures I just run to the bathroom to cough. Who knows what's going on in that little mind of hers. She must think her mom's falling apart.

We've tried explain to her what's going on but of course she really has no idea. It's a pretty strange concept to try to explain. Right now if you ask her where the baby is she'll lift up her shirt and poke out her belly to show us.

So here we go again!
